About the Women's Business Center of The Triad
Mission
The mission of the Women’s Business Center of The Triad is to promote economic self-sufficiency for Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) throughout our footprint in North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad Region and surrounding area. We support (14) counties central to the state: Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Davidson, Davie, Guilford, Montgomery, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin Counties. We empower entrepreneurs by offering counseling and programs to help you start a business, generate sustainable profits, strategize for future growth and contribute to the growth and economic development of the community.

Our small business experts offer:
- Customized, one-on-one business counseling.
- Seminars and classes focused on key business topics, such as marketing, finance, certification and small business resources.
- Review and feedback on written business plans.
- Certification assistance and review.
- Networking opportunities to find mutual support, access to resources and business referrals.
- Global business development.
